I have previously mentioned my love of Black & White photography.
Well, the following photos are the end result of a shoot I did for a friends CD cover.
I spent a Friday night & all day Saturday "uninstalling Lounge_Room1.0" in order to "instal Temp\Photo_Studio1.0b".
Sheesh! The hallway was virtually impassable, my spare room was a disaster area & the only thing left in the 'lounge room' that belonged there was the couch, only because it was too big to go anywhere else...!
So 10am Sunday morning Alison arrives for the shoot, it's over in 3 hours & I spent what remained of my weekend "reinstalling Lounge_Room1.1" (took the opportunity to do a re-org... lol)
Anyway, here's the end result... (okay I scanned the CD cover...)
I've also added a photo I took of Alison performing at the Launch of her CD at The Hub Cafe, here in Brisbane, November 97

To be perfectly honest, I'm not terribly happy with the scans. I have Re-scanned the CD cover and this is as good as it gets. However, I have manged to wheedle the originals out of Alison. Here they are (plus a few others)....

This next group is what I like to think of as the "Sassy Rock Chick" selection...

Sassy1 Sassy2 Sassy3 Sassy4
"You talkin' ta me???" "And.......????" "I have a belly button & I ain't afraid to use it..." Smokin....!

(Down boys.... She's very happily married... lol...)

For more examples of my 'happy snaps', go to my links page, click 'Mythica' then 'photos'. Page 5 has some of my snaps...

I'll finish up with some photos I took whilst on a three week whirlwind tour of the United Kingdom in September 1997. (the time went almost as fast as the money did!!!)

Chester.jpg Conwy.jpg Snowdon1.jpg Snowdon2.jpg
Old Bridge across the River Dee in Chester, North East England. Pretty. View from the top of Conwy Castle, North Wales. Beautiful country. So green... View from the top of Mount Snowdon, North Wales. Stunning... Second view from Mt Snowdon. Prior to these pics, we had been inside a cloud....

Shrewsbury.jpg York.jpg
Interior of the Abbey church, Shrewsbury, North West England. (anyone read the "Brother Cadfael" novels???) The walls of York, North East England. Love the place. 70% of the Medieval walls survive, you can use them to walk around the town...

Latest Photographic Exploits. October 2000

Did a "photo-shoot" for a couple of friends in October 2000, for their wee musical Ensemble "Timbrel". (See also my Web Stuff page for a link to the website I built for them.)
Lots of fun. Was using my 20 year old Olympus loaded with B&W film, PLUS managed to borrow a mates Digital Camera.... Hmmm, I'm impressed. If I could afford one I'd grab it... The first 5 photos below are straight from the Digi camera, no 'tweaking' apart from some minor 'cropping'. The last two are scans of B&W pics from my Olympus....
