Hmmm... Where do I start...?
I was born here in Brisbane Australia at a very young age (Yes... THAT old joke...) in 1963.
I had a fairly normal childhood. Primary school, High school, then spent 2 years at college doing a nothing course that I didn't graduate from. Not that I think it was 2 years wasted... I developed a love of Black & White photography, got involved in doing backstage work for an ameteur Theatre company and, most importantly, broadened my mind....

What else? Well apart from the hobbies listed, I love to read.

Me in "Slob Mode"

Mostly SF/Fantasy. I'm currently building up a collection of works by R A Heinlein. One of my favourite Authors. (While I don't agree with some of his views he delivers a DAMNED good yarn...)
Other Fave Authors? Tolkien (Natch), William Gibson, Anne McCaffrey, Terry Pratchett, Arthur C Clarke, Asimov, Patrick Tilley, Michael Moorcock & a guy called Christopher Rowley who appears to have written four excellent books then dropped out of sight...
Don't mind a bit of James Michener every now and then either...

Fave book of all time? "The Pendragon" by Catherine Christian.
Absolute best re-telling of the Arthurian legend I have ever read.

Employment history;
(casual/temp jobs)
I have worked; as a pump jockey at a couple of Service Stations (back when the term had some meaning) mail sorting for Australia Post, as a machine attendant at a bowling alley.
(full time jobs) at a supermarket, 5 years in the machine shop of a furniture factory (turning shit pine into shit furniture for shit wages under shit conditions) and the Australian Taxation Office since late 1990.
(Okay, okay, I know... I AM one of Satans Minions...)

Other than that? Well I'm about 6' tall, thin, long brown hair, blue/green eyes, have a slightly feral moustache & wear glasses or contacts....
